Production support unit

The production support unit was created with the aim of providing services needed by other units. These services include drinking water, pure (deionized) water, cooling water, compressed air, steam, hot and cold water, brine and nitrogen.
The utility unit includes the following units:
Water Treatment Unit:
The water purification unit with a capacity of 4 m3/hr of raw water performs water purification operations by various physical and chemical purification methods, including water pre-purification systems.
Cooling Towers Unit:
The cooling tower unit of Khorasan Petrochemical Complex, of the type of open water circulation system, with a capacity of 19700 m3/hr, is responsible for cooling the equipment in the industrial units of the complex.
Air Unit (Air Plant):
This unit is designed with the purpose of providing service air (Plant Air) and instrument air (Instrument Air) required by the units. The capacity of this unit is to produce 3200 nm3/hr of instrument air and 500 nm3/hr of service air.
Nitrogen unit (N2 Plant):
This unit has a production capacity of 600 nm3/hr of nitrogen and was created with the aim of supplying nitrogen for production units and power plants. Nitrogen produced with high purity is in two forms: gas (GAN) and liquid (LIN).
